A Local Family Business Built on Trust

Green Land Pest Control isn’t a company that moved into Pasco County after studying the market. This is our home, our community and the place where Eugene “Gene” Sannuto built his business and reputation one customer at a time.

Gene founded Green Land in 1999 with a straightforward philosophy: provide local homeowners with dependable service, honest recommendations and the kind of personal attention people expect from a family-owned business.

More than two decades later, that philosophy still guides Green Land Pest Control.

A Business That Grew Because Customers Asked for More

Green Land originally became known throughout the area as Green Land Lawn Pest Control.

Over the years, Gene and his family developed long-term relationships with homeowners who trusted them to protect and care for their lawns. Eventually, those customers began asking Gene another question:

“Can you take care of the pests inside my home too?”

Those requests kept coming.

Rather than simply adding another service to a list, Gene and his family made the decision to expand their expertise and commit Green Land to residential pest control.

That customer driven evolution eventually led to a new name , Green Land Pest Control, and a greater mission: helping local families protect the places where they live.

Recognized for Local Service and Entrepreneurship

Gene’s commitment to the community hasn’t gone unnoticed.

The County Advisory Board recognized Eugene Sannuto as a leading Pasco County Pest Control & Lawn Service business owner, highlighting his professional experience, entrepreneurship and contribution to the local community. (County Advisory Board)

Green Land Pest Control also currently holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, where Eugene is identified as part of the company’s management. (Better Business Bureau)

But awards and ratings aren’t what built Green Land.

Customers did.

Many of the same homeowners who trusted Gene and his family with one part of their property encouraged them to take the next step and protect their homes as well.

That’s a compliment—and a responsibility—that the Sannuto family takes seriously.

Supporting the Community We Serve

For Gene, being a local business owner also means being part of the community beyond the workday.

The County Advisory Board’s profile of Gene notes his support of charitable organizations and causes, including Compassion International and Metropolitan Ministries, which serves people and families experiencing hardship in the Tampa Bay area. (County Advisory Board)

That local connection fits naturally with the way Green Land approaches pest control today.

We’re not trying to become another national pest control corporation.

Our growth is intentionally focused primarily on Pasco County, including Trinity, New Port Richey, Hudson, Land O’ Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills and surrounding communities.

More Than Pest Control — It’s Personal

When someone enters your home to provide pest control service, trust matters.

Green Land Pest Control believes homeowners deserve to understand what was found, what is being recommended and why.

That’s one of the advantages of working with a local family business. Our reputation isn’t built in a corporate headquarters somewhere else in the country. It’s built right here, one Pasco County family at a time.

The services have expanded. The company name has changed. And Green Land Pest Control is entering a new stage of growth.

But the foundation Gene Sannuto built remains the same:

Local experience. Personal service. A family business committed to protecting other local families.
